Description:
Time saver utility that adds right click 'New Folder' to Explorer's left pane context menu. Comes in handy when you need to create a directory structure. The usual Explorer method is somewhat cumbersome. The free source code shows how it's done.
Installation:
The ZIP contains a single executable file that runs from any directory. Extract the NewFold.exe file to a permanent location, such as the Windows directory. (Wherever you put it, it must remain there.) Double click on it and select Install. It will add registry entries for the Windows Explorer right click context menu.
Uninstall:
Locate the NewFold.exe file, i.e. Windows directory, and double click on it. Select Uninstall and it will remove the registry entries. Delete NewFold.exe.
Download the program:
NewFold.zip (67,877 bytes)
Download the source code:
NewFold_src.zip (18,163 bytes)
(MSVC++ v6.0 w/MFC; generic .MAK included)
